Montana Traveler's Notebook Videos - Follow along with me as I share numerous traveler's notebook process videos for my Montana album!

Montana Vlogs - Relive the moments of Montana with me through these short, but calming vlogs of adventure.

One Canoe Two's Goldenrod Collection - This collection won my heart over with the beautiful yet soft colors and gorgeous elements! Since it is an older collection it is much harder to find nowadays.

Grid Washi Tape - A set of grid washi tapes is now my number one recommendation! I adore how such a simple pattern can add so much to a page. For more examples on how to use it, come over to my Patreon where I am posting exclusive process videos using it!

Entertainment:

Baylee Jae - A Canadian YouTuber and Artist who shares her day-to-day and behind-the-scenes of preparing art for her online store!

In the Heights Trailer - The first 8 minutes of the movie were released for your viewing pleasure! You can see this film in theaters now or through HBO Max Premium Subscription. Nothing beats seeing this one on the big screen though!

Bridgerton The Musical - If you did not get swept up with the rest of the world into watching Bridgerton - the musical will have spoilers! If you have watched season 1 you will love the musical storytelling of the same story so far.

Volcano Bay - My trip to Volcano Bay was nothing short of magnificent! It may have been a washed-out afternoon, but the tropical vibes and thrilling rides made up for it. You can find more photos of it over on my Instagram in my Adventure highlights.

We've all heard of the dog days of summers, but today I am bringing you on as I capture the essence of the cat days of summer! In today's video, I share some inspiration on how to use one of my favorite color schemes, ephemera that doesn't seem to match any of your stories, and how to use a TON of hearts. I hope you enjoy the video and we'll keep chatting below!

As my first 12x12 layout back in quite a few months, I was nervous that it would be difficult. A traveler's notebook is a much smaller canvas and there was fear in me that my creative empowerment behind that project wouldn't transfer to the 12x12 format. But alas, my fears were squashed once I found my groove again!

I briefly mention in my process video about printing photos from home for the first time and for those of you who might have missed it - yes, I am now a print-at-home scrapper! I've been scrapbooking for over 10 years always ordering photos from various online printers, but now that is no more! The flexibility I have to now scrapbook a story from just a few days ago and in whatever size I want?! It still feels like a dream. I plan on sharing more details in an upcoming haul video about the printer I picked out, how I'm liking it, and what accessories I use.

The little lady in these photos is a funny one. I call my pets all sorts of names. Anyone with a keen eye may have seen the little chicken sticker I included in my main cluster. A chicken? On a cat layout? This chicken sticker holds a story within its own right. My cat Lily sports many nicknames, but the one I call her the most is - you guessed it - chicken! Her orange and gold coloring reminds me of a chicken nugget. While I originally dismissed the chicken diecut element, a second look made the memory connect in my head. She is my chicken, so why not include it?!

I tucked that little extra memory next to this fun memory which I have titled "The Phases of Lil". She always goes through a big yawning phase when she is going to sleep or waking up. It captures her personality pretty accurately. She is cute but fierce and small but mighty.

This color scheme including a mix of brights and pastels is one of my favorites. I find I come back to it again and again. I love the bright pops of teal and yellow while the pink tones help cool off the brightness. While I used a ton of different collections on this page, it started me off on the right foot with this kit. If you missed my kit share you can watch it here to see all the details!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my first 12x12 layout in a long time! It feels good to be back and even better to print photos AT HOME! Yay! I hope you enjoyed it, see you again soon!

We are closing out June by sharing what is left of my homemade scrapbook kit and what I made with it! 20 traveler's notebook pages later and we have a completed album! I am ecstatic to have made so much progress in my Montana traveler's notebook that I was able to complete it!

To see all of the projects I created, all of the empty items from my kit, and what remains from my kit, check out my full YouTube video!

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my return to scrapbooking. After months of not creating from purging, moving, to living life - coming back to crafting in any capacity was a daunting task for me. I'm sure many of us experience similar fears. What if I wasn't good at it anymore? What if I didn't enjoy it? Where do I even start? I let these questions fester for a while until I figured out that I wouldn't know how I felt about the hobby until I tried it again. So, I simply sat down with a project I was once excited about and let my creativity take me.

It's not to say it was easy. Getting over the mental hurdles and fears was one of my biggest steps. I had already created a new space, already had projects waiting for me, but I just couldn't take that step to start. Once I forced myself to sit down and try - it wasn't as scary or as bad as I had imagined. In fact, the first traveler's notebook layout I made in June is one of my absolute favorites!

While we all have different paths, remember to go onward - when you are ready or even when you are not.

I hope you enjoyed seeing so much of Montana with me this month through my Montana Vlogs and my Montana traveler's notebook spreads! If you enjoyed these and want to see more, I have more process videos of these spreads going up on Patreon in July.

Thanks for the warm welcome back and I can't wait to keep creating with you all and the HTKAKWS participants! As always, thank you for stopping by and reading!
